What Happened When You're A Swiftie AND A Party Planner? Magic!
When Taylor Swift’s newest album date dropped for The Life of A Showgirl, I knew I wanted somewhere in Jacksonville to celebrate it with my girls. But there wasn’t a Swiftie party that felt big, fun, dressed-up, and worth making a whole night out of.
So I created one! Obviously!
The Life of a Showgirl became a full Taylor Swift party at Clay Theatre with my favorite vendors, a showgirl-themed venue, and a room full of women ready to dance, trade friendship bracelets, take photos, and scream every lyric like we’d been waiting for this all year. It was everything I had hoped for and more.

A Swiftie Night Out With Showgirl Energy
Clay Theatre was the perfect place to make this feel bigger than a listening party. The venue already had that showgirl energy, so I leaned into it and built the night like a full event experience. Girls could come in, grab a drink, find their friends, take a million photos, and feel like they had stepped into a party made for their favorite kind of chaos.
And Of Course, The Girls Came Dressed For Their Favorite Era
A Night of Glitter, Chaos & A Real Life Showgirl
Women were flocking to the dance floor, trading bracelets, getting glitter on their faces, adding hair tinsel, taking photos, and treating the night like their own little era. And of course it wouldn't be a Showgirl party without a showgirl! I hired a professional LED dancer who showed up in a white showgirl flapper dress with huge feathered wings, fully committed to the theme. Because, obviously, I was not going to do a showgirl party halfway.
It was cute, chaotic, emotional, and exactly what I wanted this party to feel like. But the best part was watching a room full of women feel like the night was made just for them.
I asked attendees to pick an Era and dress for it, so I knew we were going to have some amazing wardrobe moments. That meant the party had to match that energy. We had towers of goodies, a friendship bracelet craft table, Taylor-themed photo booth props, and photo-ready corners throughout the room. And of course, a huge black and white dance floor and DJ booth. Taylor’s extra energy was absolutely coming to the party.
And just like any Taylor concert, we ended the night on the dance floor, holding hands, singing our hearts out to "Lover" and remembering exactly why nights like this are worth it.
