As I ate the leftover Valentines cake, I turned to my husband and said, "Why would anyone eat vanilla when red velvet exists?" — and the Collective was baked up.

I've been planning parties since the 90s baby and I considered myself a part of the wedding industry at my inaugural flower girl debut at age 7. Since then I've served couples and their families at a prestigious club in Pittsburgh, served as the events coordinator in my sorority, planned my cheerleading squad's summer camp, officiated hundreds of beach wedding elopements, dabbled in florals, absorbed all I could as a wedding coordinator and finally had the courage to do the whole dang thing.
I fell in love with having my hands in all aspects of weddings and events as a planner. Basically, throwing iconic parties are my life’s work.
