The Details
Embassy Suites St. Augustine is already a dream for couples who want a beach wedding, but Rosalyn and Trey made it feel completely their own. They found us through Embassy Suites' preferred vendor list, and of course, we hit it off right away!
They hired us for full-service wedding planning, and Rosalyn had such a clear sense of style! I loved getting to help bring it all together. We designed the whole day to have this perfect mix of old Hollywood romance, playful pops, and personal details. From the cutest getting-ready photos with heart-shaped sunnies to an ocean-view ceremony that felt like a full-on runway moment, every part of the day screamed Rosalyn and Trey!
Rosalyn and Trey said “I do” on the ocean view lawn with runway-style ceremony chairs lined up for one seriously gorgeous entrance. Rosalyn wore lace bridal gloves she made herself, which made her look feel even more personal. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed live harp music during cocktail hour before heading into an outdoor reception on the lawn.
Like most of our couples - having an epic dance party moment was a must! Their black and white checkered dance floor was the perfect fit for a couple who chose a Machine Gun Kelly first dance, red velvet cake (duh!), and a celebration that felt elegant without ever feeling boring. One of the best moments of the night came when Rosalyn’s maid of honor sang and played a song for them instead of giving a traditional speech.
It wasn't all about the beat, though. Family and friends are everything to our couple. So, when we were planning what their perfect vision looked like, they were quick to request something that celebrated that. And...I'm still ugly crying at how perfectly it turned out!
We landed on a table filled with black and white photos of their families on their own wedding days, along with old Elvis records, and a hand-embroidered white place setting. Pieces of the past brought in to celebrate the future. It was such a sweet nod to the family they treasure.
After a night filled with dancing, family, and friends, Rosalyn and Trey snuck away to the beach for a few stolen moments, just the two of them.
